"Our forces carried out an operation using a hypersonic fission ballistic missile against targets in occupied Jaffa, and we will continue to carry out more operations in support of our besieged brothers in Gaza," Saree said in a statement, adding that "the operation achieved its goals, thanks to God, and caused millions of settlers to flee to shelters."
He continued, "Our people will not be deterred by the brutal Israeli aggression from maintaining their principled stance towards their starving brothers in Gaza."
Earlier, the Israeli occupation army reported that its defense systems intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, after air raid sirens were activated in several areas, including Greater Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Home Front Command said that "air raid sirens sounded in several cities in central Israel, prompting residents to quickly head for shelters." No injuries or significant damage were reported from the Houthi attack, according to Israeli media.
