The Ministry of Communication and Digital is focusing on three aspects related to digitalization as part of its 2026 Work Budget Plan (RKA) presented to the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria said that in addition to the three things that were focused on, there were also several other programs that were also included in the RKA discussion.
"Here, we're discussing how the 2026 budget will be used to strengthen digital infrastructure, ecosystems, and secure digital spaces for citizens, as well as a number of other programs," Nezar said at the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).
The 2026 Work Budget Plan (RKA) was discussed by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology together with Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives in a joint working meeting at the Indonesian House of Representatives.
It was not explained how much the 2026 budget agreed upon by the two parties, but referring to the meeting that took place in July 2025, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology had proposed an additional budget of IDR 12.6 trillion for the 2026 budget.
