The Ministry of Communication and Digital has invited 16 digital platform providers, including TikTok, Google, and Meta, to evaluate the implementation of the Content Moderation Compliance System.
"We invite all digital platforms to evaluate the implementation of the SAMAN system. We hope that with input from electronic system providers, this system will run smoothly," said Alexander Sabar, Director General of Digital Space Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Alexander said that the SAMAN trial had been going on for a year and was scheduled to end next month.
During the implementation of SAMAN from February 1 to September 17, 2025, a total of 487 web addresses or URLs containing negative content were handled.
The negative content handled during that period consisted of 344 pieces of gambling-related content, 132 pieces of pornography-related content, and 11 pieces of child pornography-related content.
