The Ministry of Communication and Digital has opened a public consultation on the Draft Ministerial Regulation (RPM) concerning Business Activity Standards and Product/Service Standards in the implementation of risk-based business licensing in the postal, telecommunications, broadcasting, and electronic systems and transactions sectors.
"The Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy is preparing a Draft Ministerial Regulation on Business Activity Standards and Product/Service Standards in the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Postal, Telecommunications, and Broadcasting Sector as well as the Electronic Systems and Transactions Implementation Sector (RPM on Business Activity Standards and Product/Service Standards)," the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy wrote in an official statement in Jakarta, Tuesday.
This step follows up on the mandate of Article 5 paragraph (7) of Government Regulation (PP) Number 28 of 2025 which requires each sector to establish business activity standards and product or service standards through ministerial regulations or institutional regulations.
