The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian Esports Executive Board held a national esports trainer training to encourage and strengthen the national esports ecosystem.
"This will ensure that Indonesian esports has professional and high-standard coaching staff," said Anwar, Assistant Deputy for Sports Performance and Organization at the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The event, held on September 16-21, 2025, at Aryaduta Lippo Village, is a concrete manifestation of collaboration between the government and PB ESI in producing professional esports coaches.
This effort also affirms a shared commitment to providing coaching that adapts to industry dynamics and addresses the need to improve the quality of coaching for national esports athletes.
"With the synergy between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, PB ESI, and all stakeholders, we are confident that improving the quality of coaches will have a significant impact, not only on performance but also on building a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable sports ecosystem," said Anwar.
This training is designed with a comprehensive curriculum to strengthen the capacity of trainers.
