The Ministry of Youth and Sports stated that the issue of unsustainable anti-doping programs that prompted the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) to issue a warning letter has been addressed.
"It's been handled, it's been done. We've provided the budget (to IADO). And they've also communicated with WADA," said the Deputy for Improving Sports Performance at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Surono, to reporters during the "Peak Commemoration of the 42nd National Sports Day in 2025" event at the Cibubur Youth Elite Sport Center, Cibubur.
He made this statement in response to a letter from WADA to the Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding the implementation of the anti-doping program in Indonesia, which has not been running sustainably.
