The occupation kills and injures dozens in Gaza, and starvation deaths rise amid a shortage of medicines.

Medical sources and eyewitnesses reported that the attacks targeted inhabited homes and a tent housing displaced people and those waiting for aid.

The Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of 25 Palestinians and the injury of others, according to medical sources.

In the details, a Palestinian mother and her six children were killed, and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted the home of the Al-Baz family west of Deir al-Balah.

In the Nuseirat camp, an unspecified number of Palestinians were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted the home of the Arandas family in the north.

In Al-Bureij camp, Israeli artillery shelled the home of the Al-Qarnawi family in the Block 7 area.

Around the Netzarim axis, 18 Palestinians were killed and 33 others, waiting for aid, were injured by Israeli gunfire near the US-Israeli distribution center.

Beyond the supervision of the United Nations and international relief organizations, Tel Aviv began, on May 27, a mechanism for distributing aid through the Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which Palestinians call "death traps."

The Israeli occupation army deliberately targeted those waiting for aid at distribution points, killing and wounding thousands of them.

In areas south of the Gaza Strip, Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of four Palestinians, according to medical sources.

In detail, three Palestinians—a father, his pregnant wife, and their child—were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons near the Attar station in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis.

A Palestinian was also killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli shelling of the southern areas, although details regarding the incident were not available. The Al-Katiba area in central Khan Yunis also witnessed intermittent artillery shelling.

In the northern Gaza Strip, Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of six Palestinians in separate attacks on Gaza City. In detail, a Palestinian was killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment of the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

In the eastern part of the city, two Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling of the Al-Mashhara area in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, with no further details available about the attack. In the city center, three Palestinians were killed in shelling near Palestine Stadium, with no further details available about the attack.

In southern Gaza, Israeli warplanes launched three raids on the vicinity of Al-Maghribi Street in the Al-Sabra neighborhood.

The Israeli occupation forces continued their artillery bombardment of the Al-Shati refugee camp and Al-Nasr neighborhood in the western parts of Gaza City throughout the night, while their warplanes launched heavy airstrikes on the Al-Sabra neighborhood in the south of the city.

On the ground, the occupation army's vehicles retreated from Al-Jalaa Street (surrounding the Al-Zaharna Building) in the center of Gaza City, which they had advanced towards suddenly on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned on Tuesday of catastrophic challenges facing medical staff due to the worsening shortage of medicines and medical supplies. Israel continues to "undermine" the flow of medical supplies to the Strip's hospitals amid the ongoing strict closure of the crossings since last March.

The ministry said in a statement: "Catastrophic challenges face the work of medical staff due to the worsening crisis of shortages of medicines and medical supplies."

She added, "The occupation's obstruction of the delivery of emergency medical supplies to hospitals further complicates the health situation of patients and the wounded."

It called on all concerned parties to "take urgent action to ensure safe access to medical supplies and prevent the collapse of services."

The Ministry of Health has repeatedly warned of the serious repercussions of the severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies caused by Israel's near-total closure of the crossings to relief, humanitarian, and medical aid since last March.

This shortage coincides with Israel's deliberate direct targeting of the health sector. The occupying army has bombed, destroyed, or put out of service 38 hospitals, 96 healthcare centers, and 197 ambulances since October 7, 2023, according to the latest data from the Government Media Office in Gaza.

On more than one occasion, international human rights and health organizations have warned of the risk of a complete collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli attacks and restrictions it is subjected to.

Starvation deaths rise

Also on the humanitarian front, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that the death toll from malnutrition, resulting from Israel's ongoing starvation policy, had risen to 453 Palestinians, including 150 children, since October 7, 2023.

The ministry said in a statement that the total number of deaths it recorded "due to famine and malnutrition has reached 453 martyrs, including 150 children," since October 7, 2023.

The ministry noted that since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared famine in Gaza last August, "175 deaths, including 35 children, have been recorded."

On August 22, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) Global Initiative announced in a report that "famine has occurred in Gaza City (north)" and predicted that it would "spread to the cities of Deir al-Balah (central) and Khan Yunis (south) by the end of September."

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings into Gaza, preventing any humanitarian aid from entering the territory. This has plunged the Strip into famine, despite the backlog of aid trucks at its borders.

Sometimes, it allows in very limited quantities of aid that fail to meet the minimum needs of the starving and do not end the famine, especially since most trucks are robbed by gangs that the "Gaza government" claims are protected by Israel.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving 66,055 martyrs and 168,346 wounded, most of them children and women.
