Tijuana, February 14.—February 13th is National Golden Eagle Day; it is a symbol of our culture and tradition.
Today, environmental institutions, organizations, and communities reinforce their call to strengthen actions aimed at preserving the golden-feathered bird.
"We will not allow it to disappear from our skies. Let us strive for the survival of the queen of birds and be pioneers of instruments that help raise awareness among the population about its significance and importance for Mexico.
"Without the powerful golden eagle, the independence and freedom of the Mexican nation, as well as its sovereign future, cannot be conceived," says Senator Geovanna Bañuelos de la Torre of the PT parliamentary group.
