Free activities will be offered on Theatre and Poetry Days.

 

Mexicali, March 19. In celebration of World Poetry Day and World Theater Day, the Ministry of Culture will hold various activities such as open classes, storytelling, literary talks, and performances in the municipalities of Mexicali, Tijuana, Tecate, and Ensenada. 

Free activities will be offered on Theatre and Poetry Days.

In the framework of World Poetry Day , celebrated on March 21, the agency will hold an Open Poetry Class with Antonio León in Mexicali on Friday the 21st, at the State Central Public Library, at 6:00 p.m.

In Tecate, the Juan Escutia Elementary School community will participate in the storytelling session "The Singing Serpent" on March 31st at 2 p.m. 

With the presentation of the book DIAPASIÓN by poet Lauro Acevedo , the Ensenada State Center for the Arts (Ceart) joins this celebration. The event is on Friday, March 21, at 6:00 p.m.

The Tijuana Institute of Cultural Services (ISC) will host the tribute "We Remember Julieta González Irigoyen ," with a reading of her poetry. This event will take place on Thursday, March 20, at 6:00 p.m.

Every March 27th is World Theater Day , so the play "Chely" will be presented at the Ceart Mexicali on Thursday the 27th at 7:00 p.m. 

"Public Improv Games" will be held at the Recovery and Rehabilitation Center for Alcoholism and Drug Addiction Patients (CRREAD) in the Hindú neighborhood of Tecate on the 27th at 11:00 a.m.

This celebration will be celebrated at the Rosarito Beach Convention Center with the performances of "Siniestro" by Teatro León México-Colombia, with performances at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on March 27; and "Los Jueves" by Teatro Crónicos, at 7:00 p.m. on March 28.
