San Quintín, August 21.- Since yesterday morning, the disappearance of a woman was reported. It is believed that she tried to cross a stream in San Quintín, but due to tropical storm "Hilary," the water was swollen.
The woman was apparently swept away aboard a red vehicle when she tried to cross the stream near the town of Cataviña.
On social media, she was identified as Bertha Berenice Rojas Gonzaga, who supposedly worked as a driver for a digital platform and traveled from Tecate to Santa Rosalía.
It is believed the woman tried to get out of the vehicle to escape the water, and that's when she may have been swept away by the current. Authorities and the Sedena (National Police) are searching for her.
