Mexicali, January 1. To avoid excessive spending every time an administration changes, local representative César Adrián González García proposed creating a law to regulate Baja California's institutional image .
The legislator explained that the initiative aims to strengthen the institutional identity without having to modify the logo and colors with each change of government .
He suggested including the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of Baja California, as well as the autonomous constitutional bodies and municipalities, among the public entities obligated to observe the initiative's proposals.
In his explanatory statement, the congressman mentioned that citizens demand efficient and responsible management of public spending , especially when one of the first actions implemented in changes of government is a change of official image.
