The Ngada Regency Government, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), said the 2025 Tour de Entete (TDE) international racing event will boost the development of sports tourism and the local economy in the region.
"We see TDE as more than just a sport, but also sports tourism . This is the most effective way to promote Ngada's tourism potential through an international sporting event," said Oktavianus Botha Djawa, Head of the Ngada Regency Tourism Office, when contacted from Kupang on Thursday.
Bajawa City, Ngada Regency, will be the finish point for the eighth stage of the Tour de Entete, which will be held on Friday (August 19th), starting in Ende City, Ende Regency. Bajawa will then be the starting point for the ninth stage, finishing in Ruteng City, Manggarai Regency, on Saturday (August 20th).
