UABC staff recognized for their seniority

Mexicali, April 18. The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) celebrated 140 members of its administrative and service staff who, for 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 years, have dedicated their lives to the university and have contributed to making the institution a national and international benchmark for higher education.

At the Seniority Recognition Ceremony for Administrative and Service Staff, UABC Rector Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre told the staff that when referring to the university, he is not talking about its buildings or its organizational structure, but rather about " the most valuable thing: the people who, with their love and commitment to UABC, make higher education strong."

The rector also emphasized that the administrative and service staff are responsible for maintaining resources and ensuring the efficient operation of educational processes at UABC.

He added: "It's only fair to recognize those who have dedicated their lives to the university, those who feel it is a second home, where they have formed a family out of conviction and where they have created bonds of solidarity with all those who are part of our daily work."
