Tiranga, February 27.- Municipal police responded to a report of a person carrying a firearm in Lomas de San Martín. When they tried to stop a 23-year-old man who met the requirements, he tried to stop them and pulled out a knife, injuring the hand of the deputy chief of the Sánchez Taboada delegation, who was responding to the call.
The incident occurred in the early hours of February 27th. Upon arriving at San Octavio Street, officers saw a person wearing a dark sweatshirt and hat. He was on the second floor of the apartment, sitting on the stairs. Next to him was a plastic bag with blue wrappings and a transparent Ziploc-type bag containing marijuana.
When he had the agents close in, he left his belongings and tried to flee on foot, entering a vacant lot, where he was caught by the deputy chief, surnamed Gómez, whom he attacked with a knife, injuring him in one limb.
The remaining officers provided support and arrested the man who claimed to be Freddy, 23, originally from Sinaloa. He was then brought before the appropriate authorities, where his legal status will be determined.
