Mexicali, May 22. The Morena parliamentary faction of the Baja California Congress expressed its "full support and recognition" for the state's executive branch, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, considering that she "has been a model of good governance" in the state.
The coordinator of the Morena faction, Juan Manuel Molina García, presented a statement to the legislative panel. According to a press release, he emphasized that the statement is "with the utmost firmness" in support of the work the state leader has done to date.
He highlighted "his administration's achievements in reducing extreme poverty, through social programs such as the Purple Card, Support for Older Adults, Educational Scholarships, School Breakfasts, and the Light Up Your Day Card," the statement said.
Regarding security, he emphasized, "the state government has coordinated with other levels of government to combat this scourge, making progress to maintain peace and tranquility for citizens."
