13 Jordanians embrace freedom as part of a prisoner exchange deal with the Palestinian resistance.

Hamas's Prisoners' Media Office published a photo of 13 Jordanian prisoners, saying they expressed their "thanks to Gaza and the Palestinian resistance."

He added in a post on Telegram: "Jordanian prisoners express their gratitude after their release as part of the Free Syrian Army deals, affirming that Gaza was and remains the gateway to freedom and dignity for the nation."

The office explained that the released Jordanian prisoners are: Marai Abu Sa'ida (sentenced to 11 life sentences), Munir Marai (5 life sentences), Hisham Al-Kaabi (4 life sentences), Ammar Huwaitat (life sentence), Hani Al-Khamaiseh (life sentence), and Zaid Younis (life sentence).

In addition to Samer Abu Diak (life sentence), Faraj Adwan (28 years in prison), Mohammed Al-Ramahi (23 years in prison), Walid Mansour (21 years in prison), Ali Nazzal (20 years in prison), Thaer Al-Lawzi (19 years in prison), and Nabil Harb (18 years in prison).

The office did not provide further details about where the Israeli authorities had transferred them.

On October 9, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had reached an agreement on the first phase of his ceasefire and prisoner exchange plan. This agreement followed indirect negotiations between the two sides in Sharm el-Sheikh, with the participation of Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar, and under US supervision.

According to the agreement, Hamas completed the release of the 20 living Israeli prisoners from Gaza on Monday, while Tel Aviv estimates that it has the bodies of 28 other prisoners, four of whom Israel has received.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said in a joint statement that Israel released 1,968 prisoners today, including 250 life-sentenced prisoners and 1,718 Gaza prisoners arrested after the war.

This comes amid Palestinian accusations that Tel Aviv is manipulating the lists of prisoners.

Negotiations on the second phase of the agreement are scheduled to begin in a few days, with Hamas insisting on a complete end to the war of extermination, a full withdrawal of the Israeli army, and not relinquishing its "weapons of resistance" to the occupation.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 8, 2023, leaving 67,869 martyrs and 170,105 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that claimed the lives of 463 Palestinians, including 157 children.
