Indonesian mixed doubles pair Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah achieved their highest career ranking by reaching 18th place in the world rankings released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on Tuesday.
The increase was achieved after Amri/Nita performed impressively at the BWF Super 500 Korea Open 2025 by reaching the semifinals before losing to Chinese representatives Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping with a score of 20-22, 12-21.
Their journey became even more prominent after eliminating the 2025 All England champions from China, Guo Xin Wa/Chen Fang Hui, in the quarterfinals with a dramatic three-game victory of 11-21, 21-17, 21-16.
