China launched a new communications technology test satellite into space from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in southern China's Hainan Province.
Launched at 22.30 Beijing Time (21.30 WIB) using a Long March-5 rocket, the satellite successfully entered the planned orbit.
This satellite will be used primarily to conduct validation tests of multiband and high-speed communication technologies.
This launch is the 602nd mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
