Elon Musk's technology company, xAI, has just launched an online encyclopedia similar to Wikipedia called Grokipedia, but unfortunately, despite promising differences, it was discovered that some of the content was copied from Wikipedia.
As reported by The Verge, Tuesday, Elon Musk promised that Grokipedia would bring major improvements and present something different compared to Wikipedia.
However, it turns out that several articles presented by Grokipedia actually seem to plagiarize information available on Wikipedia, ranging from rewriting to identical plagiarism.
This is also evidenced by information found, for example, regarding the MacBook Air content page, users who access this content will see the message "Content adapted from Wikipedia, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License." This means the content is rewritten based on information from Wikipedia.
