In violation of the Gaza agreement, there are martyrs and wounded in Israeli shelling of areas within the "yellow line" in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that five martyrs, including two children, and other wounded whose number was not specified, fell in an Israeli bombing of a civilian vehicle northwest of Khan Younis city, inside the "yellow line" in the southern Gaza Strip.

Other sources in the Civil Defense reported that four more martyrs fell in an Israeli raid on a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City, inside the "yellow line" in the Palestinian Strip.

Witnesses reported that an Israeli drone fired missiles at the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital and the hospital's back courtyard west of Gaza City, and an airstrike targeted the Al-Shati refugee camp west of the city.

In the central Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army shelled areas east of Deir al-Balah city with artillery.

All these targeted areas are located within what is called the "yellow line," which is the first withdrawal line stipulated in the plan of US President Donald Trump, within the first phase of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.

This line separates the areas where the Israeli occupation army is still present on the eastern side of the line from the areas within which Palestinians are permitted to move on the western side.

On October 10, the Israeli occupation army partially withdrew from the areas where it was stationed to new positions inside the Gaza Strip east of the “yellow line”, which, according to army estimates, covers more than 50 percent of the area of the Strip.

This bombing represents the latest Israeli violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect between Tel Aviv and Hamas on October 10.

“ Expanding its control”

Hebrew media reported on Tuesday evening that Israel has decided to expand its control over the Gaza Strip beyond the yellow line, and is coordinating the move with the United States.

The official broadcasting authority said: "The area under Israeli control in the Gaza Strip will be expanded beyond the yellow line," adding that the decision to expand Israeli control beyond the yellow line was made at the conclusion of security consultations held by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday evening regarding "imposing sanctions on Hamas."

The agency quoted an unnamed source as saying: "Prime Minister Netanyahu is currently discussing the matter with senior American officials to coordinate this move."

In contrast, a US official told Axios on Tuesday that senior officials in US President Donald Trump’s administration informed Netanyahu’s team that they do not see a material breach of the agreement by Hamas.

These officials urged Israel not to take drastic measures that would push the ceasefire to the brink of collapse.

But shortly afterward, Netanyahu held an emergency security meeting and decided to resume airstrikes on Gaza and expand the area occupied by Tel Aviv in the Palestinian territory, according to the website, quoting Israeli officials.

Hamas has repeatedly affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10.

Attacks on Rafah

Earlier on Tuesday evening, Hebrew media outlets, including the official broadcasting authority, reported that the Israeli occupation army had launched artillery attacks and air raids on the city of Rafah.

It claimed that the attacks came after Hamas militants fired anti-tank missiles and shelling fire at an Israeli army force on the eastern side of the "yellow line".

This came despite Hamas not announcing any attacks on Israeli occupation forces.

occupation forces.

In response to Israeli violations, Hamas cancelled the handover of the body of an Israeli prisoner that it had previously announced it would deliver today.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Gaza government media office said that the Israeli occupation army had committed 125 violations of the ceasefire agreement since it came into effect on October 10, resulting in the death of 94 Palestinians and the injury of 344 others.

In addition, the Israeli occupation army carried out 55 bombing and targeting operations, 11 demolition operations of civilian buildings, and arrested 21 Palestinians in different areas of the Gaza Strip since the agreement came into effect, according to a statement from the Government Media Office.
