Indonesia secured a title in the women's doubles event at the 2025 Super 100 Indonesia Masters II after its two representatives, Syarina Meida and Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine, both advanced to the final.
The pair Isyana Syahira Meida/Rinjani Kwinnara Nastine advanced to the final after defeating Keng Shu Liang/Li Hua Zhou from China with a score of 21-15, 21-17 in the semifinals which took place at the PBSI Deli Serdang Sports Hall, North Sumatra, Saturday.
Isyana Syahira Meida said their game this time was quite good point by point, even though they were behind at the start of the match, their focus did not disappear.
The opponent, he said, had quite a lot of power and to compensate for that, they tried to play more calmly by relying more on short balls.
"We also tend to lose focus when we're ahead, but we managed to control our focus and control the game well. Our playing style wasn't about power because our opponents were stronger, so we won by playing short balls and managing the ball. They were also overwhelmed because they're tall, so their footwork isn't as agile," he said.
