Instagram is reportedly testing a significant change in its app's appearance, making Reels a feature on the homepage.
As reported by The Verge on Thursday, the trial is currently underway in India, according to Instagram Head Adam Mosseri, with Reels and Direct Messages (DM) being the first two tabs in the app.
Mosseri said Reels and DMs are two features that have driven Instagram user growth in recent years, so Instagram is exploring new visual changes.
