Intel Corporation on Thursday (23/10) reported a 3 percent year- on-year (yoy) increase in revenue for the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, with total sales reaching 13.7 billion US dollars (1 US dollar = Rp16,645).
According to the company's financial report, Intel's net profit rose to US$4.1 billion in Q3 2025, reversing from a loss of US$16.6 billion a year ago.
"Our Q3 results reflect improved execution and steady progress against our strategic priorities. Artificial intelligence ( AI) is accelerating compute demand and creating compelling opportunities across our portfolio, including our core x86 platforms, new efforts in custom-designed ASICs and accelerators, and foundry services ," said Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan.
Intel and the United States (US) government have agreed to support the continued expansion of American technology and manufacturing leadership through US$8.9 billion in funding from the US government, the report said, adding that in Q3 2025, Intel received US$5.7 billion in funding from the US government.
During the quarter, Intel and Nvidia also announced a collaboration to co-develop multiple generations of custom data center and PC products for the hyperscale, enterprise, and consumer markets. Nvidia agreed to invest $5 billion in Intel common stock .
In its fourth-quarter guidance, Intel forecast revenue of $12.8 billion to $13.8 billion.
