Apple has successfully captured the smartphone market with the iPhone 17 series, as evidenced by its sales, which within a month of its global release have already surpassed those of its predecessor, the iPhone 16 series, particularly in the two largest markets, the US and China.
Sales of the iPhone 17 series exceeded those of the iPhone 16 series in its first week of sales, impacting the Cupertino-based company's shares, putting the company back on track to reach a valuation of 4 trillion US dollars.
Citing a New York Post report published Monday (21/10), in its first 10 days of sales in the US and China, the iPhone 17 series beat sales of the iPhone 16 series by 14 percent according to research firm Counterpoint.
