Indonesian men's singles badminton player Jonatan Christie advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Denmark Open after a dramatic victory over Chinese singles player Li Shi Feng in a rubber game 21-18, 21-23, 21-17 in the quarterfinal match at Jynske Arena, Friday night WIB.
Jojo admitted that the match was played at such high intensity that he was impatient, especially in the second set.
"Thank God, I'm grateful to be in the semifinals again, experiencing the Super 750 semifinal atmosphere again after such a long time. I played quite well today, but there are still things I need to improve on for tomorrow," Jojo said, as quoted by PBSI.
"In the second game, I was impatient. When he started to catch up, I kept pushing and playing fast, making him feel better. In the third game, I was calmer, varying the tempo between slow and fast," Jojo said.
