The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) stated that logistics for the 2025 Indonesian MotoGP event at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) have begun to be sent to Australia.
"A total of more than 540 tons of goods were sent to the Land of the Kangaroos, Australia," said MGPA President Director Priandi Satria in Central Lombok, Tuesday.
All racing equipment, motorbikes, spare parts, and supporting equipment from each team must be immediately returned or sent to the location of the next series, namely the Australian MotoGP.
According to the established schedule, the outbound shipping process began on October 6-8. All logistics were dispatched from Lombok to Australia by cargo plane.
"This series of flights is part of MotoGP's global logistics operation, which must run on time, with no room for delay," he said.
The logistics for the Indonesian MotoGP event had to be delivered within three days and had begun on October 6 using one flight with a load of around 100 tons of cargo, and on October 7 another flight carrying 100 tons of cargo.
Then on October 8, three flights, each carrying 100 tons of logistics goods, and one final flight carrying 40 tons, the timing of which will be adjusted to field readiness.
All of these items include racing motorcycles, tires, fuel, paddock equipment, electronic equipment, spare parts, as well as media and documentation equipment.
"After arriving in Australia, all cargo will be immediately prepared for the Australian MotoGP series on October 17-19," he said.
