Mira Tayyiba, Director General of Digital Government Technology at the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), stated that empowering and empowering women is key to global economic growth.
"If women's roles increase significantly, global GDP per capita is expected to grow by 20 percent, and the world economy could grow by US$5 trillion more. So, fighting for equality is not just about justice, but also about shared progress," Mira said in her remarks at the ITU Girls in ICT Day 2025 Indonesia celebration in Jakarta on Tuesday.
According to him, increasing the role of women must be interpreted as a joint effort to build an equal and mutually supportive digital world without excluding any social group.
