Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital (Wamenkomdigi) Nezar Patria emphasized the importance of public information transparency as a culture inherent in government governance.
"Public information transparency has become a culture and a distinctive characteristic of our state administration, not just an administrative obligation," said Deputy Minister Nezar in an official statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Nezar Patria said that the Indonesian Information Commission is a strategic partner of the government, especially the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, to ensure the realization of public information transparency as mandated by Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Transparency.
He explained that the Ministry of Communication and Information has positioned the Information Commission as a key partner in realizing transparent, accountable, and participatory governance.
