The AFC Asian Cup Organizing Committee (OCAC) has emphasized the importance of world-class standards at the 2027 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027.
A written statement from the OAC on Wednesday stated that OCAC Chairman Mariano V. Aranet Jr. believes the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) are setting new benchmarks of excellence in all areas.
Mariano said the OCAC had received updates from the LOC regarding key milestones and expected results leading up to the tournament.
"Credit must be given to the strong leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for successfully realizing its bold vision," Mariano said.
