OnePlus debuted its new tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2, equipped with a 10,420 mAh battery and a Dimensity 9400+ chip, which is currently being marketed exclusively in the Chinese market.
One thing that needs to be clarified before dissecting the specifications of this tablet is that the naming of OnePlus tablets in the global market and the Chinese market is very different.
As reported by Gizmochina on Tuesday, the company has globally launched the OnePlus Pad 3 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This device is the successor to the Pad 2, which has been around since 2024.
Judging by its name, it means that the OnePlus Pad 2 in China is technically one generation behind, but it is still considered to be a premium tablet for 2025.
Dissecting the specifications, the OnePlus Pad 2 has a 12.1-inch 3K display (3000 × 2120) with a 144Hz dynamic refresh rate, 540Hz touch sampling rate , and 900 nits peak brightness.
In terms of the kitchen runway, this device is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, a flagship chip that scored more than 3.05 million on the AnTuTu benchmark platform, paired with an ultra-large vapor cooling system that covers more than 46,000mm square.
