Pecco couldn't explain why he crashed at the Australian MotoGP

Ducati Lenovo racer Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia could not explain why he crashed in the Australian MotoGP which took place at the Phillip Island Circuit on Sunday.

Pecco lost control with four laps remaining. The Italian rider was battling for a top-seven finish but lost control entering sector 2. The incident caused Pecco to crash into the gravel and retire from the race (DNF).

"I pushed hard and tried to get back into the fight for the top positions, with a chance of finishing in the top seven, but unfortunately I crashed. When you're on the limit, things like this can happen," said Pecco, as quoted on the Ducati website on Sunday.
