Persija Jakarta will play their home match outside Jakarta again, facing PSBS Biak at Manahan Stadium, Solo, on Friday (31/10) at 19.00 WIB in the 10th week of the BRI Super League 2025/2026.
"NEXT STOP, SOLO. Give your best, Tigers," wrote Persija's official Instagram account on Tuesday.
This is the first time this season that the Kemayoran Tigers have played their home match outside Jakarta, after previously playing three matches at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), North Jakarta.
In those three matches, Persija remained undefeated, winning one and drawing two. The Kemayoran Tigers' only victory at JIS was a 4-0 victory over Persita Tangerang.
Previously, JIS, Persija's home stadium this season, had been a major question mark after the stadium was used for the K-Pop concert by NCT Dream at the end of September. The concert's impact brought the JIS turf into the spotlight, with restoration taking some time.
Despite being the first of the season, playing at home outside Jakarta isn't new for Rizky Ridho's team. Last season, they played at several stadiums outside Jakarta, including Pakansari Stadium (Bogor), Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium (Bekasi), Sultan Agung Stadium (Bantul), and Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium (Bali).
Currently, Persija sits in second place in the Super League standings with 17 points, seven points behind Borneo FC, who have a perfect record from eight matches.
Persija arrived for the match against PSBS in confidence after picking up two wins from two matches, against Persebaya Surabaya (3-1) and Madura United (1-0).
Meanwhile, visiting team PSBS is in poor form after four games without a win. The team nicknamed the Pacific Storm last won on September 11, when they took three points against the home team, Semen Padang.
