The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) will decide on a new coach for the Indonesian national team before the FIFA Match Day (FMD) in March 2026.
This was stated by PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) member Arya Sinulingga when attending the first day of the mini soccer tournament between media outlets titled "Media Cup 2025" at Pendekar Goozone Mini Soccer Cibis, South Jakarta, Tuesday.
"The next FMD is in March. The current FMD (in November) is being used by the U-22 SEA Games team. That means our needs will be in March. We'll look for them first. As the PSSI chairman said yesterday, we have a problem: we need to improve our image abroad first, because many people are bullying former coaches. So we'll wait," Arya said.
