Real Madrid's French striker Kylian Mbappé joined a rare club in El Clásico history after scoring for his fourth consecutive match against Barcelona in Sunday's 2-1 La Liga win

With this achievement, Mbappé became the third player in the 21st century to score in four consecutive Clásicos in all competitions, joining a legendary list that includes: Cristiano Ronaldo (scoring in six consecutive matches against Barcelona in 2012) and Ronaldinho Gaucho (scoring in four consecutive Clásicos between 2004 and 2006).

Mbappé's final goal came after a brilliant pass from England's Jude Bellingham, with the French striker firing a powerful shot into Barcelona's net to open the scoring.

Bellingham also set another record in the encounter, becoming the youngest player in the 21st century to score and assist in a Real Madrid Clásico, adding a historic touch to the club's individual performances this season.

Real Madrid's victory raised its score to 27 points, moving five points clear of second-place Barcelona at the top of the league table.
