Shopee Indonesia, together with the Ministry of Communication and Digital and Siberkreasi, launched the Anticipation of Fraud Modes book, a practical guide to recognizing and avoiding various online fraud modes.
This launch is part of the #TakKenalMakaTakAman campaign which aims to raise public awareness of the threat of digital fraud.
"The challenge now isn't just about technology, but also about building an ecosystem that involves various parties, such as the government, digital platforms, public figures, and communities, to unify visions and perceptions in providing education and digital literacy to the public," said Rizki Ameliah, Head of the Komdigi Digital Literacy Development Center, in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Rizki welcomed this move as part of efforts to build a strong digital literacy ecosystem in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Shopee's Head of Corporate Affairs, Satrya Pinandita, emphasized Shopee's commitment to ensuring user safety and comfort.
"We want to ensure that every user can shop, sell, and interact on our platform safely and comfortably. We specifically designed the Shopee SAFE Book with a design and language that is accessible to a wide range of audiences, and in a shareable format that can be easily shared across various platforms," he said.
The AMAN book is available on the Shopee Xtra Aman portal and is designed to be easy to understand with simple language and a format that is easy to share.
