Realme GT8 series will launch on October 21, 2025

Realme has hinted in recent days that it will release its flagship smartphone, the Realme GT8 series, which will be launched in China on October 21, 2025.

This series will consist of the Realme GT8 and Realme GT8 Pro smartphones and both will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Elite series chipset.

As reported by Gizmochina, Wednesday, the Realme GT8 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is the latest chip from Qualcomm, so it will be a tough competitor for several phones equipped with similar conditions such as the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, and Redmi K90 Pro.

In addition to being equipped with Qualcomm's flagship chip, the Realme GT8 Pro's performance is also supported by the R1 graphics chip to enhance the user experience more optimally when playing games.

Realme also added another advantage to the GT series this time, by debuting a camera system calibrated by Realme together with renowned camera manufacturer Ricoh.

On the front, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a flat 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to be powered by a 7,000mAh+ battery with 120W fast charging and wireless charging support.

Other rumored features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal mid-frame, dual speakers, and an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback.

The phone is also expected to support interchangeable camera modules, increasing the flexibility of taking pictures.

Meanwhile, the other model, the Realme GT 8, is known to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This phone is also equipped with a 6.6-inch display and a 7,000mAh battery.

The phone will likely also feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a metal mid-frame. In terms of camera technology, the Realme GT 8 will likely feature Ricoh GR color profiles and optimizations.
