The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs strengthens its commitment to the global postal and logistics ecosystem.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the postal and logistics ecosystem on the global stage following its trust in joining the Council of Administration (CA) and Postal Operations Council (POC) of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for the 2025–2029 period.
The Director General of Digital Ecosystems at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Edwin Hidayat Abdullahdalam, stated that Indonesia's entry through the Ministry of Communication and Digital as a member of the CA and POC UPU is an important momentum for Indonesia to accelerate digital transformation in the postal and logistics sectors.
"More than just a diplomatic achievement, this is an opportunity to bring national interests to the global stage while also championing the creation of a postal ecosystem that is fairer, more inclusive, and more relevant to the digital age," Edwin said in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs affirmed its commitment to three areas of focus at the Postal and Postal Service Office (POC) and the UPU: accelerating the modernization of national postal services, paving the way for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to enter the global market, and ensuring Indonesia's logistics ecosystem is ready to compete in the digital era.
