The occupation army escalates its attacks and raids in the West Bank amid settler attacks.

Israeli occupation forces arrested two young men from the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, after severely beating them in the Nakhil Roundabout area, according to the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA.

The agency reported that a young man was injured with bruises after being assaulted by occupation soldiers in the town of Dura, south of Hebron, explaining that "the occupation forces raided a bakery in Dura and assaulted the young man, Abdul Hadi Waed Muhammad Hussein Al-Masharqa (18 years old), who works in the bakery, causing him to suffer bruises all over his body."

West of Hebron, WAFA reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested three citizens from the town of Idhna after raiding its western neighborhoods and firing live ammunition and flash bombs.

South of the city of Hebron, activists on social media posted a video showing an Israeli soldier abusing a young Palestinian man in the village of Khursa, whom they said was a bakery worker. The video shows two soldiers, one of whom violently kicks the young man after forcing him to the ground.

WAFA quoted local sources as saying that the occupation forces stormed the village of Farata, east of Qalqilya, and raided the Triangle area, setting up two military checkpoints, one at the entrance to the village and the other in its center. They stopped vehicles and checked the IDs of Palestinians, obstructing movement to and from the village.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army arrested 19 Palestinians from the village of Al-Zweidin in the southern West Bank, shortly after villagers repelled a settler attack.

Saeed al-Taimat, head of the local council of the village located east of the town of Yatta, south of the city of Hebron, said, "The occupation army arrested 19 citizens after confronting a number of settlers who stormed the village and attempted to steal sheep."

Shortly before, settlers attacked the village and assaulted its residents, resulting in one fatality and several injuries, according to Osama Makhamreh, an activist who monitors Israeli violations.

In the central West Bank, WAFA reported that the Israeli occupation forces closed the entrances to the villages of Kharbatha al-Misbah and Beit Sira, and the town of Beit Liqya, west of Ramallah, "preventing citizens from entering or leaving them," without providing further information.

In the northern West Bank, the agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qaryut, south of Nablus, and "fired sound bombs and tear gas at civilians, without any injuries being reported."

Meanwhile, a number of Palestinians were injured Saturday evening in attacks launched by settlers on villages and communities in the southern West Bank. Palestinian state television confirmed that civilians were injured in a settler attack on the village of Al-Zweidin in the Yatta desert, south of Hebron, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.

For his part, Osama Makhamreh, an activist monitoring violations by the Israeli occupation army and settlers, said, "The settlers' attacks included several villages and ruins in the Masafer Yatta area," adding, "The settlers stormed the village of Al-Zweidin and destroyed citizens' property in the presence of the occupation army."

He stated that settlers stormed the village of She'b al-Butam, provoked residents, and attempted to steal livestock, but residents confronted them. They also stormed Khirbet Haribat al-Nabi, residents also confronted them. The army arrested a foreign activist who was documenting the violations.

In parallel with the war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and settlers in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, killed at least 1,048 Palestinians, injured approximately 10,300, and arrested more than 19,000, including 400 children, according to official Palestinian data.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, leaving 67,074 martyrs and 169,430 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 459 Palestinians, including 154 children.
