The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) announced the lifting of the temporary suspension of TikTok's Electronic System Operator Registration Certificate after the platform fulfilled its obligation to submit data requested by the government.
"TikTok has submitted the requested data regarding traffic escalation and TikTok Live monetization activities for the period of August 25–30, 2025, via an official letter dated October 3, 2025," said Alexander Sabar, Director General of Digital Space Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, on Saturday (4/10).
As quoted in a ministry press statement confirmed on Sunday, Alexander said that the data submitted by TikTok included a daily recapitulation of traffic escalation , the amount of monetization, and indications of monetization violations in aggregate.
After conducting a thorough analysis, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology assessed that the TikTok platform provider had fulfilled its obligation to provide data.
Based on the fulfillment of these obligations, Alexander said, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology ended the temporary suspension of the Electronic System Provider Registration Certificate (TDPSE) and reactivated TikTok's status as a registered Electronic System Provider.
The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs supervises all Private Electronic System Providers or Private PSEs to ensure they comply with national legal provisions.
"We will continue to monitor and communicate with all private PSEs to ensure the effectiveness of regulatory implementation and the sustainability of a safe, trustworthy, and conducive digital ecosystem for all users," Alexander said.
