The occupation forces bombed various locations in Gaza. Al-Qassam Brigades: We have no knowledge of the Rafah clashes, and the escalation will delay the return of the prisoners' bodies.

The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed in a statement published on its Telegram account that any Israeli "escalation" would hinder search operations, delaying the return of the remaining bodies.

An Israeli government spokesman said that Tel Aviv continues to fulfill its obligations under the ceasefire agreement, claiming, "We are in a ceasefire, but soldiers can defend themselves."

The Israeli occupation army launched an airstrike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, an area outside its control under the ceasefire agreement.

Earlier, the Israeli military claimed in a statement that Palestinian fighters "fired anti-tank missiles and opened fire on army engineering vehicles operating to destroy terrorist infrastructure in the Rafah area, in accordance with the terms of the agreement."

Hebrew media, including the official broadcasting authority, claimed that the Palestinian fighters were "Hamas members."

"We affirm our full commitment to implementing everything that has been agreed upon, foremost among which is the ceasefire in all areas of the Gaza Strip. We are not aware of any events or clashes taking place in the Rafah area," the Qassam Brigades said in a statement.

She explained that Rafah city falls within the "red zones under occupation control," noting that contact with the remaining groups there has been cut off since the war resumed last March.

She continued: "We have no information as to whether they were martyred or are still alive since that date. Therefore, we have no connection to any events occurring in those areas, and we cannot communicate with any of our fighters there, if any of them are still alive."

In a statement, the Israeli occupation army announced that it had launched air and artillery strikes on the Rafah area, claiming to "eliminate threats and destroy several operational tunnel openings and military buildings."

Rafah is one of the areas not included in the Israeli withdrawal, and the occupation army remains in complete control of it.

With the ceasefire agreement in effect, Israel partially withdrew from various areas of the Gaza Strip to new deployment sites within the Strip, which have come to be known as the "Yellow Line" areas, covering more than 50% of the Strip, according to Israeli military confirmation.

The occupation army's withdrawals included Gaza City (north), with the exception of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood and parts of the Tuffah and Zeitoun neighborhoods.

In Khan Yunis, the Israeli occupation army withdrew from the central areas and parts of the east, while preventing Palestinians from entering the towns of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia (north), the city of Rafah, and the Gaza Strip sea.

Concurrently with the Israeli military's announcement, its aircraft launched an airstrike on the vicinity of a café in the town of Az-Zawayda in central Gaza, which is not under the control of the Israeli military under the ceasefire agreement. The airstrike resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians and the injury of several others, according to Palestinian medical sources.

Eyewitnesses indicated that the targeted area is located in the vicinity of several field hospitals and tents housing displaced Palestinians.

The ceasefire agreement is based on US President Donald Trump's plan, which, in addition to halting the war, calls for the release of Israeli prisoners in Gaza, a ceasefire, the disarmament of Hamas, and the entry of aid into the Strip.

The agreement ended a genocidal war launched by Israel with US support on October 8, 2023, which left 68,159 dead and 170,203 injured, most of them children and women, and destroyed 90% of the civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
