The Ministry of Communication and Digital has cut off access to Zangi's services and applications because they have not registered as a private electronic system provider (PSE Privat).
"This step is part of an effort to enforce existing regulations to ensure that all electronic system providers comply with registration requirements. This compliance is crucial to ensure protection for digital service users in Indonesia," said Alexander Sabar, Director General of Digital Space Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, in a press release received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics Number 5 of 2020 concerning Private Electronic System Providers requires Private PSEs operating in Indonesia to register and have an Electronic System Provider Registration Certificate (TDPSE).
