A total of 2,695 participants competed in their soccer playing skills in the closing series of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) 2025 event which took place from 18 to 23 at the Kingkong Soccer Arena and the Atang Sutresna Kopassus Stadium, Cijantung, East Jakarta.Jakarta was the final city in a 10-city women's soccer tournament organized by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation and MilkLife. Participants came from 156 elementary schools and Islamic elementary schools (MI) in and around Jakarta. They formed 240 teams, consisting of 76 teams for the 10-year-old age group and 164 teams for the 12-year-old age group.
"(This number of participants) is a record high for the MLSC event, which is now in its second year," MLSC Program Director Teddy Tjahjono told the media in Jakarta on Saturday.
In the 2024 MLSC Jakarta Series 1, the number of participants was only 368 female students. Then, in Series 2, in November 2024, the number of participants increased to 1,359 female students. Then, in the 2025 MLSC Jakarta in April, the number of participants reached 1,601.
