A total of 516 mixed martial arts (MMA) athletes from 20 provinces are competing in the 2025 National Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Championship (IBCA MMA Championship) for the National Police Mobile Brigade Corps Commander Cup.
The tournament at the Mobile Brigade Corps Headquarters (Mako Brimob Polri) in Kelapa Dua, Depok, starting this is expected to become an annual calendar event to provide a platform for amateur fighters to gain flying hours.
"We hope that the IBCA MMA National Championship, which will be held annually at the Mobile Brigade Corps Headquarters in Kelapa Dua, Depok, will continue to grow in number of participants. We hope to cultivate talented athletes who can later compete in international events," said the Chairman of the IBCA MMA Provincial Board, Brigadier General Gatot Mangkurat Putra, in a press conference .
The tournament, which is scheduled to take place from November 18 to 21, was opened by the Deputy Commander of the Mobile Brigade Corps, Inspector General of Police Reza Arief Dewanto, attended by the Secretary General of PP IBCA MMA Maraden Lumbantoruan and the Chairman of KONI DKI Hidayat Humaid.
