Android phones with Snapdragon will be able to send files to iPhones

Qualcomm has confirmed the expansion of its Quick Share feature, which will allow Android phone users with Snapdragon chipsets to send files to iPhones with AirDrop support on Apple devices.

Quick Share, Android's built-in wireless file sharing feature, has so far only allowed users to send files to other Android devices and Windows PCs.

However, according to a Gizmochina release on Monday, Google recently announced that Quick Share will support sending files to iPhones using the same wireless method as AirDrop.

This cross-platform support is currently only available on the Pixel 10 series with the Tensor G5 chipset , so only a small percentage of Android users can enjoy it right now.

Qualcomm has confirmed that the file-sending feature from Quick Share to AirDrop will soon be coming to devices using Snapdragon chipsets .

The official Snapdragon account on the X platform reposted Google's announcement about the feature with the added statement, "Can't wait for people to be able to use this once it's enabled on Snapdragon soon."
