Indonesian mixed doubles pair Bimo Prasetyo/Arlya Nabila Thesya Munggaran secured a place in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Indonesia International Challenge tournament after defeating Taiwanese pair Yu Yen Cheng/Sung Yi-Hsuan with a score of 21-11, 22-20 at the Among Rogo Sports Hall, Yogyakarta, on Thursday.
The second-seeded pair put on a convincing performance in the first game, playing fast and aggressively, putting pressure on their opponents. Despite facing stiff resistance in the second game, Bimo/Arlya maintained their focus and won on a set point.
"In the first game, we were able to immediately get into our game plan because we already knew our opponent's character from previous field trials," Arlya said in an official statement.
