Los Angeles Clippers basketball player Bradley Beal has suffered a hip fracture and will undergo surgery next week, potentially ending his 2025-2026 NBA season early.
According to the NBA website, as quoted in Jakarta on Thursday, Beal is expected to need six to nine months of recovery time, so he will not participate in the regular season or the playoffs .
"This is a very unusual injury. The surgeon said it's similar to a car accident injury, so it's more like an acute trauma injury than a sports injury," said Clippers President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank.
