Orlando Magic basketball player Paolo Banchero suffered a left thigh muscle injury (groin strain) on his 23rd birthday, forcing him to miss the second half of the 2025-2026 NBA game against the New York Knicks.
According to the NBA website quoted in Jakarta, Thursday, Banchero suffered the injury in the second quarter.
Initially, the Magic stated that the player still had a chance to return. However, the team soon confirmed that Banchero would not play in the second half or the rest of the game.
