Brazilian national team winger Estevao Willian expressed his disappointment with his squad's 1-1 draw with Tunisia in a friendly match at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium, France, early Wednesday morning WIB, despite scoring a goal.
"I'm happy to have scored, but I'm disappointed with the result. We could have won, but we were up against a strong team that worked hard on the pitch," Estevao said, as quoted on the official website of the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) on Wednesday.
However, the footballer who has a career at the English Premier League club Chelsea does not want to wallow in disappointment.
Estevao emphasized that he is now focused on strengthening Chelsea because Brazil will not be playing international football until the end of 2025.
The 18-year-old footballer emphasized that he wants to pursue consistency, as he believes his performance throughout 2025 has been fluctuating.
