Ancelotti is considered one of the kings of the Champions League, as the Italian coach won the European title on five occasions, twice with AC Milan and three times with Real Madrid.
Ancelotti made history with Real Madrid before leaving at the end of last season to coach the Brazilian national team on a one-year contract.
In a recent press interview, Ancelotti revealed the strongest candidates to win the Champions League title for the 2025-2026 season, excluding Barcelona from the list, and said: "The strong candidates to win the Champions League, as usual, are: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain."🚨 Ancelotti: As usual, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Bayern Munich. pic.twitter.com/JNrvc375V5

Ancelotti also praised the abilities of Luka Modric, the Real Madrid legend and current AC Milan player, explaining that the Croatian international is a football phenomenon at his age.
He added: "Luka Modric doesn't surprise me; he has never missed a single training session with Real Madrid."
It is worth noting that Paris Saint-Germain won the 2025 Champions League title for the first time in its history after a resounding 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the final.
