The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has granted ESPN Africa exclusive rights until 2029 for English-language broadcasts in Sub-Saharan Africa, to broadcast international basketball matches.
The FIBA website stated on Wednesday that the four-year agreement aims to strengthen the exposure of FIBA competitions in the African market.
"Fans across Sub-Saharan Africa will have more opportunities to watch FIBA's best competitions with high-quality broadcasts," said FIBA Media and Marketing Services Director General Frank Leenders.
